Welcome to our Wild Weekender

GO WILD FOR NATURE

UK nature is beautiful and precious – but it’s in crisis. That’s why between 28 April – 1 May, we brought people together for our Wild Weekender to sow, grow, and create thriving habitats for the nature on our doorstep.

Whether it’s a garden, a balcony, or an unloved community space, any outdoor area can become a flourishing wildlife haven.

"The truth is, every one of us, no matter who we are, or where we live, can and must play a part in restoring nature”

Sir David Attenborough

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Nature is essential to all our lives. It provides the food we eat, the air we breathe, and a home for the precious wildlife on our doorsteps. Devastatingly, 1 in 7 of the UK’s wildlife species is at risk of extinction. By protecting green space where you live, you’ll be joining a community across the UK that want to make a difference.

SAVE OUR WILD ISLES

The Wild Weekender is part the Save Our Wild Isles campaign. The RSPB, WWF and the National Trust are calling for an immediate halt to the destruction of UK nature and urgent action for its recovery. Let's pass our wild isles on to the next generation in a better shape than we inherited them.
